According to SoyaNews, the average price of ready-made diets for non-productive animals in Russia in January 2024 was set at €1 351 per ton. This is 4.7% less than the previous month and 5.7% lower than in January 2023. The most expensive ready-made pet food in January 2024 was sold in the Volga Federal District at RUB €2 186 per ton, and the cheapest was in the Siberian Federal District at €1 027 per ton.
From January 2022, the minimum price for a ready-made diet for non-productive animals in the pet products market was recorded in February 2022 at €783 per ton, SoyaNews reports, based on official EMIS figures. The maximum price during this period was recorded in May 2023 at €1 761 per ton.
