Zoomonitor, the internet inquiries analytics service by Zooinform, demonstrated high demand for all kinds of cat feeding and drinking accessories during summer in all cities of Russia. Nevertheless, in August the category boosted.
In average, internet inquiries from May until August increased by 80% comparing to the same period in 2019, with the minimal growth in Moscow (+24%) and maximum growth in Khabarovsk (+207%) and Krasnoyarsk (+138%).
This is not a seasonal growth of this category of accessories as in previous years the demand was not so high and didn’t grow during the summer. Most probably, these are the results of an unusual year 2020 and the increased cat population, especially in the Siberian region.
