Le’Murrr & Cats&Dogs is one of the largest retail chains in Russia. It has 219 stores (91 of them are franchise stores) in 52 cities.
The company started in 1997 with a small pet products department in the suburbs of St. Petersburg. Later, it was a little chain of convenience stores with the area up to 50 sq. m. In 2005, all stores of the chain were redesigned and got the common style and the name Le’Murrr. At the same time a first pet supermarket was opened. In 2009, the franchise program started, and a year later the Le’Murrr pet products hypermarket with an area of 1100 sq. m started to operate.

In 2014 two Le‘Murrr grooming salons were opened in St. Petersburg, and the 2016 saw the opening of an online store lemurrr.ru, which is the part of an omnichannel business model of the company.

The assortment contains a whole range of products for cats, dogs, small and large birds, rodents, reptiles, aquarium fish. Stores are licensed to sell veterinary medicines. All products are carefully selected by the Commodity Committee before getting on the shelves, so that the customers may have no doubts in the products’ quality. Almost all stores sell rodents, birds, fish and reptiles.
The assortment of an average Le’Murrr pet store is about 4,000 SKU, of a hypermarket — 10,000 SKU, and of an online store — about 12,000 active SKU. Buyers may make a reservation of products and delivery to pick up location or any address specified.
The chain regularly carries out various promotions. There is a loyalty program LemuriA in offline and in the online store.
Le’Murrr management pays special attention to staff training. For this purpose, their own training program is developed and it focuses on product knowledge and skills training.
