The history of Pol & Pet company started far back in 1989, when a little group of dedicated enthusiasts from the USA and Russia came together in order to provide Russian dogs and cats with the opportunity to taste foods popular in North America and other countries. These foods were made by an American Diamond Pet Food company. The venture turned out to be successful, and many people are still having nostalgic memories about Diamond, Diamond Naturals, Nutra-Nuggets, and Nutra Gold trademarks.
Since then, large amounts of pet foods had been sold, and times, trademarks, and products has changed. However, the principle of Pol & Pet company stays the same – and that is to work with the best manufacturers and to supply the best products only, thus providing pet owners the important opportunity of conscious choice. The company was one of the first to declare a hundred-per-cent of all ingredients contained in Berkley wet and dry foods. This enables pet owners to be confident about their quality and formulation.

Nowadays Pol & Pet company imports Berkley pet foods to Russia and sells them all over the country. These products include, above all, wet cat and dog food produced at one of the best European factories, Landguth Heimtiernahrung GmbH in Germany. Besides, Berkley Fricassee – wet cat food made in France – also proved to be excellent. In 2018, the company started supplies of Berkley dry foods for small and medium breed dogs. They are made in Great Britain and contain fresh meat only, no meat and bone flour or dehydrated meat are used. Due to the fact that the manufacturing process avoids double processing of meat ingredients, first into meat and bone meal and then to pet food, makes Berkley dry foods so tasty, healthy and hypoallergenic.
