Zhivaya Planeta is a regional pet retail chain in Tyumen, involving 18 pet shops, 3 animal hospitals with pet grooming salons, and an online store.
In 2005, a pet owner and a breeder Tatyana Abutova, the CEO of the company, being well aware of the pet owners’ needs, opened the first up-to-date self-service pet shop in Tyumen. Since then, high-quality pet products and a decent service have become available in the city. In 2014, Aybolit, the oldest pet shop chain in Tyumen, joined Zhivaya Planeta.

Zhivaya Planeta retail chain helps to develop responsible attitude to pets and pet care culture. All the employees have their pets, and are well aware of other pet owners’ issues. Special attention is paid to disease prevention, for that reason specialty stores regularly host various training and entertainment events held by the Caring Pet Owners Club.

To help them care better the stores also operate veterinary clinics where qualified doctors work, and pet grooming salons which provide complex care. It is for these customers that the shops hold animal hospitals, where highly qualified veterinarians work, and pet grooming salons providing for the integrated pet care.
The pet products assortment of Zhivaya Planeta stores contains more than 10,000 items. The stores sell live animals as well, which not many stores in Tyumen can handle with.
