Delivery Club, one of the largest food delivery service in Russia, present in 38 cities, started offering a new service – pet care products delivery. The new segment has been launched with the support of Mars Petcare. Lyubimchik pet retail chain became the first partner of the service.
During the first stage, Delivery Club users will have access to more than 800 most popular products from the Lyubimchik assortment, mainly pet food, treats and cat litter. After the trial period, the list of delivered goods will be expanded. Delivery Club couriers are already delivering orders from Lyubimchik pet store to the residents of Moscow and Moscow region. In future, this service will be available in some other areas and cities.
During the delivery process all the requirements of the current legislation are fulfilled. Delivery Club has developed special bags for pet care supplies, which can be carried by couriers both separately or inside their regular backpacks.
According to Mukhit Seidakhmetov, the Chief Operating Officer of Delivery Club, company has paid attention to the high demand for pet nutrition products. However, in non-specialized stores only the main types of pet goods are presented, so cooperation with a pet store chain made it possible to expand the range of products that were available for delivery. In turn, Lyubimchik stores management noted that the opportunity of getting food for a pet in less than an hour after clicking on a smartphone is a new customer experience and an extremely convenient service.
Sergey Roskoshniy, Director of e-commerce development at Mars Petcare Russia, commented that the need for convenient services for pet owners is growing. Mars Petcare is pleased that the colleagues from Delivery Club supported the idea and discovered a new product category.
