According to Zoomonitor, the “cat” category is the fastest growing category in the city of Kazan, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan. In first 20 days of November internet inquiries there increased significantly for cat toys (+32%), grooming supplies (+26%), pet food (+23%), beds (+22%) and houses (+21%).
Most probably, cat owners carefully set up home for their new pets, struggle with seasonal fall-off and select optimal diets for the winter.
And dog owners in Tatarstan, apparently, have already solved the problems of pet’s needs. Despite the high growth in the clothing and shoes category (+76%), many categories of dog products demonstrate either a minor increase or a strong fall. Requests for dishes (-34%) and vitamins (-26%) were the leaders of the interest rates fall.
