According to HTF Market Intelligence, this segment is expected to grow by an average of 5.5% between 2024 and 2030, driven by trends such as the humanization of pets and increasing attention to their health and well-being.

Key players identified by analysts include Woof & Brew (UK), Parle Agro (India), Big Heart Pet Brands (USA), Cargill (USA), and others.

The primary focus for growth is expected to be on functional and specialized formulations using natural and organic ingredients.

Pet owners are showing strong interest in these products, which not only offer treats but also opportunities to celebrate special moments with their pets. For example, at the Smith & Whistle bar in London’s Mayfair district, pet owners can enjoy a drink with their four-legged companions. The menu, developed by local mixologists and dog nutritionist David Jackson, includes four cocktail options, featuring fresh mint, herbal infusions, tonic with ginger, coconut water, broccoli kale, pet beer, and even prosecco. One cocktail, Poochie Colada, is touted as both tasty and beneficial, promoting shiny fur and healthy joints. The drinks are priced between £5 and £6.5, with a larger bowl-sized serving available for £10.
