As of March, 2nd, 2021, Rosselkhoznadzor (Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance) prohibits supplies of all products manufactured by Alltech, Inc. due to unclaimed unregistered GMO-components found in one of its food supplements.
Due to numerous repeated detection of undeclared unregistered GMO ingredients in the products supplied from the US, Rosselkhoznadzor (RSN) applied to the US Veterinary Service with the request to suspend all pet food and food supplements supplies to the Russian Federation as well.
Earlier, in summer 2020, RSN suspended pet food and supplements import from all factories in the Netherlands.
