S7 Airlines has increased the number of animals allowed in the cabin from two to five. At the same time, no more but two pets can travel on a seat next to the owner, the rest should be placed under the seat. The amended rules are effective on February 15, 2021.
According to Svetlana Kulyukina, director of the Passenger Experience Department in S7 Group, transportation of pets in the next seat, introduced in December, is in high demand. Since the beginning of the year 2021, more than 400 passengers have traveled with their pets. Taking into account the popularity of the service, it was decided to increase the maximum number of pets in the cabin. At the same time, all strict requirements of flight safety and the interests of all passengers on board, are preserved.
