Spectrum Brands states that 524 cases of fake product sales and illegal use of FURminator brand name were detected in Russia in 2020.
The Moscow legal company Semenov&Pevzner is engaged in the search for counterfeits. Its specialists purchase control buys of the FURminator counterfeit products, as well as pursue products illegally marked with this trademark.
It is illegal to use the FURminator trademark on websites, price tags, promotional materials, and prospects for other brands owners. Most of confirmed cases of FURminator legal rights abuse were submitted to the courts.
Spectrum Brands company, the brand owner, suggests to all parties involved to stop selling counterfeit products and using the FURminator trademark illegally, and in case of doubts on the origin of the product, consult the company’s representatives.
