State registration exemption of genetically modified (GMO) soybeans and meal (soybean meal) for farm and domestic animal food production, the safety of which is confirmed by the Rosselkhoznadzor, has been extended until January, 1, 2022.
This is stated by the Government Decree No. 2338 “On amending resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation of 16 April 2020, No. 520”, dated December, 29, 2020 and stating that
Earlier in April 2020, the Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree according to which GMO products approved by the Rosselkhoznadzor as safe, were exempt from mandatory registration until 01.01.2021.
