INABA JapanThe history of INABA goes back to 1805, when Yoshizo Inaba, the founder of the company, began tuna trade in Shizuoka, Japan. Then, for 150 years the company supplied human food only. In 1936, the first canning factory was built. 35 years later INABA invented a technology for production of light tuna flakes, one of the most popular fish products in Japan today. Manufacture of pet food was launched by INABA in 1958.

In 1988, INABA launched CIAO, a brand of super premium cat food and treats, made of Human Grade ingredients. CIAO gained popularity quickly and now CIAO is a №1 wet cat food brand in Japan. In 2012, INABA launched CHURU — wet cat treats with innovative packaging design which allows to hand-feed a pet. In 2018, same CHURU treats for dogs appeared.

‘Delighting cats and dogs around the world’ is the main mission of INABA. Manufacture of high-quality food is the company’s priority. The company monitors and controls the production process at all its plants. Also, INABA pet food contains traditional Japanese ingredients, such as scallops, oysters, lobsters, calamari, which makes it so special and authentic.

INABA produces its pet food in three countries. The main plant is located in Japan. The company owns plants in Thailand and China as well. In 2022, the company is going to start a plant construction in the USA, and there are plans to build a factory in Europe in the near future.

INABA has offices located in 24 countries, including England, Germany, Spain, Poland, the US, Chile and other countries. As of April 2021, there is a representative office in Russia as well. Ivanko and Premium Pet are official distributors of INABA product in Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.
