Based on the official figures from EMISS, SoyaNews calculated that the average pet food price in the Russian Federation in November 2023 settled at €1.3 thousand per ton. This is 5.3% less than in the previous month and 25.2% more than in November 2022. Since the beginning of the year, the price of ready-made rations has decreased by 1.2%, marking the lowest level in the current year.
From January 2021, the minimum price of feed for non-productive animals was recorded in January 2021 – €654 per ton. The maximum price for this period was recorded in May 2023 – €1.7 thousand per ton.
In November 2023, the most expensive ready-made feed for companion animals was sold in the Volga Federal District (€1.8 thousand per ton), while the cheapest was in the Siberian Federal District (€1.1 thousand per ton).
