SoyaNews analyzed the operational data from EMIS and discovered that in November 2023, Russia produced 1,742 tons of pet food additives. This represents a 4.4% increase over the previous month and is 1.39 times higher than in November 2022. In total, for the 11 months of 2023, compared to the same period in 2022, the additives production for non-productive animals in Russia grew by 24%.
It is worth noting that the peak volume of food additives was produced in August 2023, when enterprises released 2,181 tons of such products.
