According to AnalyticResearchGroup pet care products internet sales more than doubled and reached 28 bln rubles (€300 mln) in 2020. However, an average check on original Russian online platforms went down to 3.000 rubles (€33), and it increased by 43% at international online players (regardless AliExpress) up to €120.
One third of consumers, who shop online, buy pet products – they are 15th most popular category. For 56% of shoppers the main reason for buying pet care products online is availability of delivery, followed by assortment and speed of delivery.
