Ukrainian pet food manufacturer Kormotech transferred 150.000 hryvnia (over Euro 5.000) to the insurance fund for doctors working with COVID-19 patients in the region of Lviv (Western Ukraine). The fund was initiated by the regional public administration with the support from local businesses.
Entrepreneurs from Lviv town paid for insurances of 3.200 medical workers fighting the coronavirus. In total, the insurance program managed to collect more than 3 million hryvnia (over Euro 100.000). Now doctors infected with COVID-19 will receive financial support. Entrepreneurs hope that the insurance will give doctors a stronger feeling of confidence and security.
