Revaz Khomasuridze, the leading expert in RCF (Russian Cynological Federation), an international judge, the legend of the Russian cynology, passed away on Sunday, 11th of April.
Revaz was born in Sukhumi, Georgia. As an 11-year-old boy he got his interest in cynology after participating in a dog show with his Ireland setter called Rada. At his 15, Revaz accomplished the first cynological course, became a dog trainer, founded a Fauna dog club and organized dog shows.
Since 1991, Revaz was an all-breed expert , was an international judge, worked as an adviser to the President of the RСF and the Chairman of the RCF Commission on Standards. He played a major role in the Russian cynology, was an indisputable authority in dog exhibition activities.
