The Federal Antimonopoly Service decided on violation of the competition law by Farmina Pet Foods LLC, the subsidiary of Italian pet food manufacturer in Russia. The basis for accusing was the fact that the supplier set minimal retail prices for online-stores, thus interfering in their economic performance and controlling their prices, also exerting pressure by threatening to stop deliveries.
Farmina Pet Foods reacted fast and eliminated violations which allowed it to avoid the court case or any other regulations from FAS.
