According to SoyaNews, an average price for a ton of industrial pet food has reached 171,1 thousand RRub (Euro 2.061) in May, 2023. It’s 10,9% more than a month before and 1.84 times higher than in May last year. Since the beginning of the year the price increase estimates at 22,9%, and it’s a price record since at least two and a half years.
The highest prices for pet food in Russia were recorded in the Central region reaching 229,9 thousand RRub per ton (Euro 2.800) and the cheapest pet food was available in Siberia for 112,4 thousand RRub per ton (Euro 1.350).
