The Rosselkhoznadzor expanded the pool of pet food factories which are allowed to resume export into Russia. The ‘white list’ includes three German small mammal and bird food manufacturers: the Mealberry company (with Amigo, San, Verde and PET trademarks) and two Vitakraft plants.
The range of resumed for supplies to Russia functional and dietary pet food is expanding as well. As of now, the following German companies are allowed to ship to Russia: Bosch Tiernahrung (TM Best Choice trademark), Landguth Heimtiernahrung (CORE 95, LANDOR) and Tiernahrung Deuerer (BROOKSFIELD, CLAN).
Controlled goods arriving in Russia will be subjected to enhanced laboratory monitoring.
Thus, all in all the certification of products of 59 companies has been resumed: 36 manufacturers of pet food and food additives from Germany, 17 manufacturers from the Netherlands, four from Spain and two from Canada.
Earlier this week, the Rosselkhoznadzor banned rodent and bird food supplies from the Italian Monitoba and the Belgian Versele-Laga companies.
